Doig, Margaret

Margaret Doig – of Listowel, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at the age of 91. Margaret enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles and spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of the late Stewart Doig who predeceased her in 1993. Loving mother of Mary Lou Goetz (Joe), Wayne (Kathy) and Jim (Cathy). Special grandma of Kim (Dean) and their children Dalen and Alexandra; Kevin (Amy); Korey (Natasha) and their children Cooper, Jake and Kamryn; Rob (Meghan) and their children Anne, Louis, Brennan; Ryan (Nicki) and their children Emily, Degan and Abbi; Lisa (Mat) and their children Liam and Blake; Kelly; and Abbie. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Herbert and Mary (Cudmore) Duncan, brothers John, Harry (Gladys), Les (Shirley) and sisters Eva Malcolm (Bob), Julia Sim (Joe), Bernice Smith (Charles).
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Thursday March 9, 2017 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. Spring interment in Molesworth Cemetery.
