The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, December 1st, 2016 at the age of 73 years. Diane grew up in Porcupine, Ontario. Lived some years in Sault-Ste-Marie and spent her final years in Greater Sudbury. Beloved wife to late Frank Lloyd Fournier. Diane and Frank were best friends and were happily married for 50 years. Daughter of late Donald McMaster and Madeline McMaster (née Higgins). Loving mother to Lloyd Fournier (Céline Boucher), Shawn Fournier and Kimberly Marcoux. She taught her children valuable lessons, ones she lived by everyday. Predeceased by her siblings Lorraine Lavallee and Lorne Pearson. Loving sister to Gerry Pearson (Yvonne Bélanger). Loving grandmother to Ashley, Christopher, Nicholas, Justin and CJ. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Diane loved both her family and bingo passionately. She will be dearly missed by her pisan Sandra Campbell. A very special thank you to her sister-in-law Yvonne for all her care and time spent with mom. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, December 4th, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held, Monday, December 5th, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with a reception to follow. Flowers can be sent or donations can be made by cheque or online to the Canadian Diabetes Association. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
