Heath, Derek Alfred
1932-2017
It is with great sadness that we announce that Derek
passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22 November
2017 after a courageous struggle with illness. Beloved
husband of Bridget (Bridie) Heath, loving father of David
(Helen) and Angela, grandfather of Megan, Amanda and
Jessica. He is survived by brothers Dennis, Frank and
Brian and will be fondly remembered by coworkers,
family and friends in Canada, Ireland, England and New
Zealand.
Visitations will take place Saturday December 9th from
12:00PM to 2:00PM at the Rideau Funeral Home located
at 4275, boulevard des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux
(QC) H9B 2A6 514-685-3344 www.rideaumemorial.com.
Memorial service will follow at 2:00PM.The family wish
to extend a warm thanks and gratitude to all the
caregivers and staff who helped Derek pass in peace and
with dignity. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in
his memory to the West Island Palliative Care Residence,
Pavillon Andre-Brunet, 265 Andre-Brunet Street,
