It is with heavy hearts that the family of Denisa
Marie (LeBlanc) Richard, age 84, of Clover Hill, NB, announces her
death which occurred on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the
Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB. Denisa was born in
Richibucto Village, NB, on March 17, 1933, a daughter of the late
André J. and Eugenie (Richard) LeBlanc.
She is survived by her children: Judy Dow (Ron) of Saint
John, NB, Yvon Richard of Clover Hill, NB, Christine Hutton (Michael)
of Bayside, NS, and Jackie Richard (Denis Maltais) of Clover Hill, NB;
grandchildren: Christopher McDonald, Gabrielle Dow and Liam Hutton;
sisters: Doreen (Clarence) Boucher and Claudia (Lawrence) Thibodeau;
brothers: James (Linda) LeBlanc and Edward (Jane) LeBlanc; as well as
many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Denisa was predeceased
by her loving husband Allison Richard; granddaughter Kelly Richard;
brothers: Raymond, Leo, William and Joseph; and sisters Annie
Robichaud, Marguerite Marley and Eugenie LeBlanc.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017
from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on
Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00AM from Sacred Heart Catholic Church
with Father Dan Bastarache presiding. A private family interment will
take place in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Norton,
NB.
Donations in memory of Denisa may be made to the Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
