Obituary for Denis Joseph Richard Tremblay
TREMBLAY, Denis Joseph Richard – It is with broken hearts that the family of Denis Tremblay announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in his 55th year. Cherished husband and best friend of Lynn (nee Anderson). Seldom apart, Denis and Lynn were high school sweethearts who went on to spend 29 wonderful years together. Proud and loving father of Timothy. Dear brother of Linda Briggs and brother-in-law of Barb Janssen (Henry), Nancy Krebs (Chris) and Ronald Anderson (Jackie). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jacques and Germaine Tremblay and his brothers Jack and Eddie.
Denis worked at Pride Mobility in Beamsville for ten years. He was a fun loving guy who brought joy to countless friends and family members. Denis lived his life with optimism, a good-natured outlook and will be remembered for his classic sense of humour. Above all else, he was a devoted husband and father who loved his family beyond measure. He will be forever missed by the countless lives he touched.
The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, October 27th from 5 – 8 p.m. A service to celebrate Denis’ life will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Saturday, October 28th at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
Memorial donations may be made to the Huntington Society of Canada or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
