1949 – 2017
Obituary of David Hembree
Allen Hembree
After a very brief, but devastating illness, on Friday, November 10, 2017, David Allen Hembree of London, Ontario in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Chor Hing. Loving father of Justin of London and Sara of Victoria, B.C. Proud grandpa of Grace Hembree of Victoria, B.C. Allen was pre-deceased by his parents Millie and Earl Hembree and his brother Pat Hembree and his sister Sandra Weidner.
Allen was a true salesman, applying his trade with vacuums, toys and RVs throughout Western Canada. He finally settled on a career of setting up ‘Game Cycle’ stores for resale of video games and movies, starting in Red Deer and Calgary, then on to five stores in Windsor and London. Allen loved to fish, camp, travel and keeping busy with home improvements. Up to his last day, he was working on renovations on the new home he and Chor Hing bought in April.
The family is planning an early summer Celebration of Life at the campsite he loved southwest of Chain Lakes in southwestern Alberta.
