He was born, raised, and spent his life in Toronto before retiring with Helen Emily to Tillsonburg 28 years ago. In his younger years he loved to ride horses, and visited stables just north of Toronto on a regular basis. David and Helen enjoyed square dancing and travelled many places with their square dancing group. David was an avid reader of books, enjoyed golf, and kept in shape with his daily walks. He loved watching “Frasier”, and was often heard quoting lines from television and movies. He had an unwavering faith in the Lord and was a man who could be depended on for help, a sympathetic ear, great advice, a good laugh, and a job well done. He and Helen Emily were devoted parishioners of First Baptist Church Tillsonburg. David was respected by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
