McKeeman, David
Alexander
It is with heavy hearts that Dave’s family
announces his passing on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the age of 56
years. He was the beloved husband of 29 years to Laurie (nee
Reynolds). Cherished father of Brenna and Erin and the late
Riley (1997). Dave will be sadly missed and fondly
remembered by his brother and sisters-in-law; Dan, Lyn, Glenna,
Margaret, Ruth, his nieces, nephews, extended family and
friends. He is predeceased by his parents; Donald and Betty
McKeeman, his brother, “Paul”, his sister, Karen and
his brother-in-law, George. Dave was an avid sports fan;
dedicated to watching his “Leafs, Raptors and Blue
Jays”. He enjoyed cooking and reading, but mostly,
spending time with his family and dogs Buddy and Scamp. Dave
fought a courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease with
immense dignity, perseverance and never-ending hope. Friends
may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL –
McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street,
Guelph (from 6 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November
14). Funeral service will be held at Gilchrist
Chapel on Wednesday, November 15 at 12:00 p.m. (with visiting for 1
hour prior). Interment at Kincardine Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Huntington Society of
Canada would be appreciated in order to continue the research in
finding a cure. We invite you to leave your
memories and donations online at: www.gilchristchapel.com
