Suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Read) for 60 years. Loving father of Karen Giles, Tim and his wife Jackie, Paul and his wife Brenda, Peter and his wife Kim, and John and his wife Gwen. Cherished Popa of Nathan (Emma), Elizabeth Tetreault (Dan), Aaron (Natalia), Kate Medland (Matt), Matthew Giles, Sarah (Brandon Drouillard), Evan, Samantha James (Jesse), Renee (Rob Guy), Amanda, Christopher and great Popa of Ryan, Clara, Abbeydia, Charlotte, Jacob and Savannah. There will be a Celebration of David’s Life held at ELIM CITY CHURCH ( 414 McKellar Street Peterborough) on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Reception to Follow in the Church Hall. Private family interment. In memory of David and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Elim City Church, or the Project Papillon (Haiti) and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.
