The death of David George Crossman of Miramichi, NB, occurred accidently on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 43. Born in North Sydney, NS, David is the son of Dale (Simms) Crossman (Kenny Flynn) of Miramichi, NB and Gary Crossman (Patricia Crossman) of Sudbury, ON. David was a co-owner of Dr. Green Lawn Care. Besides his parents, David is survived by one daughter: Cali Rae Crossman of Nelson, NB; three brothers: Trevor Crossman (Tara Lee) of Fredericton, NB, Jeff Tuma (Eileen) of Saint John, NB and Jeff Simms (Mary Ann) of Fort Saint John, BC; grandmothers: Goldie Simms of St. Anthony, NF and Edith Crossman of Chipman, NB as well as well several nieces and nephews. David is predeceased by his grandfathers; Wilfred Simms and David Crossman. Visitation was held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.Funeral Service was held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 1 PM with Rev. Charlene Maguire-MacKnight. Music for the service was provided by Jacqueline Allain.A scripture reading was given by Eileen Tuma and words of remembrance were shared by Jeff Tuma. Pallbearers were Scott McAllister, Scott Jardine, Jayden Hare, Greg Lynch, Jason Turnbull, Ernie Crossman, Daryl Savoy and Scott Savard. In David’s memory a donation may be made to the Miramichi Panthers Hockey Club. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB.
