It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of David ‘Dave’ William Ashford, 84, on April 2, 2017, surrounded by his loving family and friends, at Buchanan Memorial Hospital. Born in Neil’s Harbour, NS on April 20, 1932 he was the son of the late William ‘Bill’ Ashford and Margaret (Seymour) Ashford. He was a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church, Neil’s Harbour. Dave is survived by his sons, Kennedy (Lee), Blair (Melinda), both of Ingonish, Avery (Sarah), Neil’s Harbour; daughters, Christine (David) Harrison, Middleton, Sharon Ashford, Halifax and Felicia (Andrew) Robertson, Ontario, as well as his 12 grandchildren and…
