1949-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of David Mark Bezzant, age
68, of Four Corners, NB, announces his unexpected death which occurred
on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint
John, NB. He was born in Barrie, ON, on October 2, 1949, the only son
of the late Robert and Frances (Hockin) Bezzant.
David was an avid gardener and was born with a green thumb. He had a
passion for all types of gardening whether it was flowers or
vegetables.
David is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Norma M. Bezzant
(Hammell); sons: Robin Bezzant of Grand Prairie, AB, and Darren
Bezzant and his wife Beth of Calgary, AB; grandchildren: Joshua, Megan
and Robert; sisters: Wendy Beard and her husband Bruce of Midhurst,
ON, and Sandra Chouinard of Rothesay, NB; as well as many nieces,
nephews. David will be especially remembered by the Freeze family,
Cheryl and Brian Ward, special friend and neighbor Edris Keys and the
Friday Night Card Clan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sussex Select Community Funeral
Home (506-433-2133), 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB, where visitation will
be held on Wednesday, November 1 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM followed
by a memorial service at 2:00 PM from Sussex Select Community Chapel.
Donations in memory of David may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or
to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to
