David B. Greene
1936-2017
The death of David Blair Greene formerly of Good Corner occurred on
Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville.
Born February 18, 1936 in Gregg Settlement he was the son of the late
Albert and Blanche (Glenn) Greene. He was also predeceased by his
wife, Anne; 1 daughter, Gale Pulley; daughter in law, Line Paradis; 4
siblings, Reginald Greene, Donald Greene, Darrell Greene and Audrey
Jones.
David served in the Canadian Air Force for 32 years as a Master
Sergeant, Air Defence Technician. Upon his retirement he returned to
the family homestead in Gregg Settlement.
David is survived by his 6 children, Michael Greene (Dina), Donald
Greene (Stephanie DePodesta), Roy Greene (Shelly), Chris McAuley
(Ryan), Russell Greene (Line Paradis, deceased), Crincle Fugere
(Gary); 13 grandchildren, Sondra, Natalie (Phillip), Samuel (Trina),
James (Alicia), Tess, Cole, Addison, Carly, Emily, Wyatt (Kayla),
Emmett, Jesse and Alex; 12 great grandchildren, Areé, Kaleesa,
Jalia, Kayla, Channing, Talia, Jada, Saniya, Samuel Jr., Saiyan, Azyah
and Riley; 3 siblings, Glen Greene (Joan), Tena Brown and Gary Greene
(Linda) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 2-4 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm
from St. Paul’s United Church, Centreville. Rev. Mary Taylor will
officiate. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Donations
made to St. Paul’s United Cemetery would be appreciated.
