David Aubrey Steeves
1957-2017
David Aubrey Steeves, 60, of Hillsborough passed away
peacefully on November 28th, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital with his
family by his side.
David was born on March 23, 1957 the son of the late
Stanley C. Steeves and Margaret (Ryan) Steeves. He worked
for CNR. He was an outdoor guy and loved cutting wood and
being in the woods, it was not work to him, he enjoyed every minute of
it. He was able to get a tractor and he was very proud of
that and loved his tractor. In his last days he wanted
people to know that he was not afraid to die and was ready to meet his
Lord and Saviour. His message was clear ” Keep Praying-
Keep the Faith and the Lord will fill your
heart.”
He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Loretta Leaman of
Wheaton Settlement, Alma Smith of Moncton, Jacqueline Woodard of
Moncton and Debbie Steeves (Fred Irving) of Baltimore; brothers,
Michael J. Steeves of Lower Cape and Armand H. Steeves of
Toronto. He will also be missed by several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by infant
brother,Francis “John”; sister, Alice Steeves and
sister-in-law, Carol Steeves; brothers-in-law, Bruce Leaman and
Allison Copp.
Honouring David’s own wishes there will be no
visitation. A Celebration of his life will be held at Salem
Baptist Church on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at 2:00pm with Pastor
Leonard Geldart officiating.
