Darrell Jakubowski
1960 – 2017
Darrell passed suddenly at home, on a sunny morning in November, with snow on the ground and his sweetheart by his side.
Left to mourn his memory is his wife Kimberly; his children: Jessica (Chad), Travis (Rosie), Tiffany, Tye and Jace; his grandchildren: Bella, Blake and another due in January 2018. He will also be remembered by his father Jerry (Toni); his brothers Paul (Darla) and Grant (Michelle) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Marion (nee Flegel) and his cousin Jessica Jakubowski.
He was a hell of a guy, an amazing husband, dad son, and grandpa. He was also a much loved son-in-law and dear friend to Penny and Reg. His greatest passions were his family, baseball (Cleveland you bums!), music and classic cars.
We’ll miss you forever Pops!!
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pleasant Valley Hall, 6100 Doumont Road, Nanaimo, BC on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 1 – 4 p.m.
