Danny Barnoff May 18, 1954 – February 19, 2017

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on February 19, 2017 at the age of sixty-two. Born in Montreal. Grew up in Verdun, attended Verdun Catholic High School. Former manager at Bar-B-Barn West Island, worked at Trans Continental Equipment Pointe St-Charles. He was an avid golfer, member of Summerlea Golf Course in Dorion, also frequently seen at Dorval Golf Course. Loved to spend time at the cottage in Lanthier where his passion was fishing and dominating at horseshoes (still cottage champ). Spent many years in bowling leagues at Laurentian lanes and loved playing darts with his buddies. Always the life of the party and had a joke for everyone. Always made everyone around him feel special, loved by all. Predeceased by his father Bernard. He leaves behind his mother Yolande Hudon. Beloved husband of Sara Maynard. Loving father of Blake (Amanda) and Jake (Jessica). Cherished grandfather of Brooklyn, Hailey, Brayden and future granddaughter (July 2017) Dani. Dear brother of Brian, Berold (Kim), Sandra and Debbie. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6, 514-685-3344, on Friday, February 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
