HALFWAY COVE – Daniel Karsten Grosvold, 27, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at home.
Born in Halifax, he was the only child of Dawn (Sanford) Grosvold, Annapolis Royal Nursing Home and the late Halvard Grosvold. Dan was a very intelligent young man with a passion for drawing, writing, listening and playing music. Above all, he loved his family and friends.
Besides his mother, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Ray and Wanda Sanford, Bear River; uncles, Scott Sanford, Eastern Passage; Michael (Cheryl) Grosvold, Berwick; aunts, Inga Grosvold, Sylvester; Annie Grosvold, New Glasgow; Hazel Sheehan, New Glasgow; cousins, Jordan, Leann, Jameson, Eirik, Erik, Thomas, Jeffery and Sarah.
Dan was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Olaf and Betty Grosvold.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 26th in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester, with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating.
