Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Wednesday December 27th, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jannie Dirksen and the late Claire Deleeuw. Loving father of Micheline Harris, Michel Riendeau (Marjorie), Patricia Vandermeer (Henk), John Deleeuw (Jayne Sanderson) and Mary Dirksen. Dear grandfather of Garret, Jason, Duncan, Jocelyn, Esther, Natalie, Michel, Marc and Sarah and 8 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King Street West, Colborne on Saturday December 30th, 2017 from 10 am – 12 noon. A funeral service will be held in Old St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Colborne on Saturday December 30th at 2:30 pm. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Old St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
