January 25, 1925 – November 14, 2017
It is with sad hearts that the family of Dale Walkey announce his passing on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook at the age of 92. His smiling face and good humour will be sadly missed by all.
Dale is survived by his wife Ruth of 68 years, children Bruce (Pat), Audrey (Dennis), Leona (Tony), Noella (Danny) and Jeannie, son-in-law Gerry, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and his sisters Opal and Wanetta.
A funeral service for Dale will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 20th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2210 – 2nd Street North in Cranbrook. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses on the third floor for the care that was given during his final days.
