Bob passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 54 years Nellie, his loving daughters: Melinda (Kyla) and Sharon (Bobby); Cherished Poppa of: Deanna, Jamie, Jordan, Abby as well as his brother Doug (Joan).
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth Cummins; brother Mickey and sister Mary.
Bob and Nellie met in the summer of ’59 in Grand Falls, NFLD and started their journey together. They were married in 1962 and moved to Labrador City in 1963, where they stayed until they moved to Grande Cache, Alberta in 1974 with both of their children. They called Grande Cache home until he retired in 1995.
In 1997, they moved to Spruce Grove to enjoy their retirement close to their children and grandchildren. They spent the next 15 years dividing their time between summers in Spruce Grove and their winters in Casa Grande, Arizona.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 200 Boundary Road, Spruce Grove, Alberta.
