CRAWFORD, FLOYD S. – of Belleville, passed away at Belmont Long Term Care Facility on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the age of 89. Son of the late Charles and Hannah Crawford. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Duvan) Crawford. Dear father of Susan (Dr. Cesare Palaia) Crawford, of Marino, Italy; Peter (Brenda) Crawford of Selby, Delaware; Mike (Silvie) Crawford of Kingston; Marc (Helene) Crawford of Cornwall; Danielle (Tim) Yon of Belleville; Bobby (Kathleen) Crawford of Hartford, Connecticut; Louis (Sherry) Crawford, Todd (Natalie) Crawford and Eric (Kim) Crawford, all of Belleville. Floyd is lovingly remembered by 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by sisters, Joan (Bruce) Bullock of Kitchener, Carol (Joseph) Santa Guida of Bramalea and by sister-in-law, Pauline Crawford. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Frank Crawford. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, Belleville (613-968-2273). The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on both Monday and Tuesday, November 13th and 14th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 296 Church Street, on Wednesday, November 15th, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow, with burial of cremated remains at St. James Cemetery at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations to The Floyd and Pauline Crawford Benevolent Fund would be appreciated by the family. (Cheque or cash only, please.) This fund is focused on helping children and supporting them in sports.
