Conrad HUSS
April 25, 1943 – December 2, 2017

Conrad Huss of Calgary passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the age of 74 years, despite all his protestations to the contrary and indignation at the very idea that he might, in fact, be mortal.

Conrad worked for many years as a Journeyman Welder. He loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and going for drives in the mountains. He would often visit the Crowsnest Pass and take his children to wilderness areas such as the Kananaskis, teaching them to fish and how to build a fire. He also enjoyed bowling, having played in a league for many years, as well as watching hockey, his favorite team being the Calgary Flames. Conrad inherited the family affinity for cats and has had many over the years; he passed this love onto his children as well.

He is survived by his children, Travis Huss and Tanya (Geordie) McLauchlan; as well as his cats, Yoda and Fritz.

Conrad was predeceased by his parents Alice Huss (nee Sudworth), Conrad Huss; grandparents, John Sudworth, Harriet Sudworth, Conrad Gottfried Huss, Marie Huss (nee Wildner) and his aunt Ruth Sudworth.
