COLE, Doris Irene – entered into rest at the Q.H.C. Belleville General Hospital on Saturday December 10th, 2016 in her 85th year. Daughter of the late Amis and Lulu Wood. Beloved wife of Howard Cole. Dear mother of Richard (Nicole) of Ivanhoe and the late Beverly Bates. Loving grandmother of Julia, Patricia, Kristopher (Ashley), Chelsea, Christine and great grandchildren Sierra and Maverick. Predeceased by her brothers Guy, Bruce and Percy Wood. She will also be missed by Lucky. Doris was a long time member of the Belleville Trillium Club. A Memorial service will be held at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273), on Thursday December 15th, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation prior from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Inurnment at Belleville Cemetery to follow. If desired, donations to Fixed Fur Life Quinte, or Belleville General Hospital Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
