Obituary for Clifford “Red” Racine

Mr. Clifford “Red” Racine
April 6, 1931– December 12, 2017
His family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Tuesday December 12, 2017, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of Lucienne Gagné-Racine, and son of the late Joseph and the late Emma Racine. He was the dear step-father of Jean (Theresa) Gagné, Lynn (Marvin) Shallow, Anne (Michael) Lambert, Roger (Kim) Gagné and Jeanne (Pat) Devine. He also leaves to mourn his step-grandchildren Ashley, Taylor, Darcey, Brittany, Craig, Derek, Melissa, Lucan, Alexander, Andrew and Matthew and his step-great grandchildren Maddy, Harper, Carter, Ayla and Emma. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Red was also predeceased by all his siblings.
Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, on Saturday December 16, 2017 from 9 am to 10:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 11 am at Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls, reception to follow in Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Parish Hall. The interment will take place in the spring 2018 at the Abitibi cemetery.

Sa famille vous annonce avec grande tristesse son décès survenu à l’hôpital Anson Général, le mardi 12 décembre 2017, à l’âge de 86 ans. Il était le cher époux de Lucienne Gagné-Racine et le fils de feu Joseph et de feu Emma Racine. Il laisse dans le deuil ses beaux-enfants Jean (Theresa) Gagné, Lynn (Marvin) Shallow, Anne (Michael) Lambert, Roger (Kim) Gagné et Jeanne (Pat) Devine, ses beaux-petits-enfants Ashley, Taylor, Darcey, Brittany, Craig, Derek, Melissa, Lucan, Alexander, Andrew et Matthew ainsi que ses arrière-beaux-petits-enfants Maddy, Harper, Carter, Ayla et Emma. Il laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs nièces, neveux, autres parents et amis. Red est allé rejoindre aussi tous ses frères et ses sœurs.
La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 641 Ave deTroyes, Iroquois Falls, le samedi 16 décembre 2017 de 9h à 10h30. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 16 décembre 2017 à 11h à l’église Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens d’Iroquois Falls. Une réception suivra à la salle de l’église Sts-Martyrs. L’inhumation aura lieu au printemps au cimetière Abitibi.
