It is
with great sadness that the family of the late Clayton
Blanchard announce his passing on Saturday, December
17, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the
age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his brothers: Ernest
(Claudine), Roland (Gloria), Lawrence (Peggy), of Meadow’s,
Brian (Marie) McIver’s, Jordy (Maureen) Norris Point;
sisters: Avril and Anita Blanchard of Meadow’s, Una Lovell
Bay Shore Manor, and Jean Combdon of Jackson’s Arm; brother
in-law David Hunt; very special aunt Lena Bolt and many nieces,
nephew’s other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by
his parents: Arthur and Ethel Blanchard; sisters: Isabel and Olive;
brothers: Wilfred and Randell; brother’s in-law: Garry
Combdon and Nelson Lovell. The family will be receiving friends from
Holy Trinity Anglican Church Meadows on Sunday, December
18th from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 &
7-9 pm, from where Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday,
December 20th at 2:30 PM. Interment to follow
at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are
graciously accepted or donations may be made to Holy Trinity Church,
Meadows. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre’s
