Obituary for Claude Morin
In loving memory of
Mr. Claude Morin
June 24th, 1947 – November 8th, 2017
With great sadness his loving family announces his passing on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls, Ontario at the age of 70. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gisèle Morin (nee Cyr), his daughter Claudette Morin (Trevor Vane), and his granddaughters Kristen, Amber and Jo-Anne. Claude was also predeceased by his son Gilles Morin (1996), his father Raymond Morin and his mother Anna Morin (nee Bourgeois). He was the brother of the late Simone Dubé (late Claude), late Rosaire Morin (Jeannine), late Dorian Morin (late Yollande), late Albert Morin (late Joanne), late Maurice, late Hélène Gaudette (late René), Rhéa Lapierre (late Cléo), Laura Gélinas (Gérard), Laurette Perreault (late Gilles), Émilien Morin (Mireille), late Aurèle Morin, late Yvette Lapierre (late Gilles), Hector Morin (Madeleine), Denise Barteaux (late David), Claudette Farquhar, Yvonne Bissonnette (Lon), Lucie Lamarche. He also leaves behind many others brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, Ontario on Sunday, November 12th, 2017 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic church on Monday, November 13th, 2017 at 11am followed by a reception in the parish Hall and the interment will be held at the Abitibi cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens parish or to the South Centennial Redevelopment Fund and would be greatly appreciated.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa chère épouse Gisèle Morin (née Cyr), sa fille adorée Claudette Morin (Trevor Vane) et ses précieuses petites-filles Kristen, Amber et Jo-Anne. Claude est allé rejoindre son fils Gilles Morin (1996), son père Raymond Morin et sa mère Anna Morin (née Bourgeois). Il était le frère de feu Simone Dubé (feu Claude), feu Rosaire Morin (Jeannine), feu Dorian Morin (feu Yollande), feu Albert Morin (feu Joanne), feu Maurice, feu Hélène Gaudette (feu René), Rhéa Lapierre (feu Cléo), Laura Gélinas (Gérard), Laurette Perreault (feu Gilles), Émilien Morin (Mireille), feu Aurèle Morin, feu Yvette Lapierre (feu Gilles), Hector Morin (Madeleine), Denise Barteaux (feu David), Claudette Farquhar, Yvonne Bissonnette (Lon), Lucie Lamarche. Il laisse également plusieurs autres beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, nièces, neveux, parents et amis.
La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 641 avenue deTroyes, Iroquois Falls le dimanche 12 novembre 2017 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu le lundi 13 novembre 2017 à 11h à l’Église Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens d’Iroquois Falls. L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière Abitibi d’Iroquois Falls et une réception suivra dans la salle de l’église.
