Auger, Clare Grant;
Of Kitchener, ON passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was 81 years old.
Clare is survived by his brother Earl (Joan) of West Montrose, ON; Sister-in-law Shirley of Kitchener, ON; Sister-in-law Judy (Larry) of Bracebridge, ON; two sons; Richard (Barbara) of London, ON and Clare (Debra) of Kitchener, ON; two daughters: Marianne of Nanaimo, BC and Michelle (Jack) of Timmins, ON and two step-sons David (Lynne) and Kevin (Wendy) both of Calgary, AB.
He is fondly remembered by an extensive network of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews together with their spouses and families; also his dear friend and companion, Yvonne Pomeroy of Kitchener, ON.
The family would like to thank the nurses (angels) at St. Mary’s General Hospital and Freeport Hospital. These dedicated professionals together with those at Lanark Place Retirement Home and Walser Funeral Home will be forever remembered for their kindness and most of all their compassion for Clare while he was in their care.
Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at Memory Gardens in the spring of 2017.
