Christopher James Manning – (September 16, 1954 – September 5, 2017)

Passed away in the presence of his loving family at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. Chris Manning at the age of 62 years. Predeceased by his parents Ron and Loretta Manning; mother – in – law Angela Smith; father – in – law Lloyd Smith and brother – in – law Paul Smith. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Daphne; his four children Nicole McCue (Jody), Kelly Manning (Bobby), Shane and Christopher; cherished grandchildren Amber whom was like a daughter, Taylor, Kylie, Logan, Liam and Emerie. Also grieving their loss are sisters Myra Slaven White (Harold), Sheila Waterman (Michael), Joan Olley (Ed), Agnes and Anne Manning; brothers Gary (Marion), Randy (Imelda), Bobby (Deanna); sister – in – law Patricia Beason (Chris); brother – in – law Dave Smith (Kim Zacharias). Chris will be sadly missed by great friends Charlie and Mary Gosse, also Rick and Elaine Fitzpatrick, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the Health Science Centre 4 North A, the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit and family doctor Caroline Alteen for the wonderful care and compassion they provided Chris and his family during this difficult. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 11, 2017 from Holy Trinity Parish at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
