Obituary Overview
Christopher Carruthers
Christopher Carruthers, 81, passed away November 25, 2017 following a long battle with cancer. He is survived by the love of his life Molly, his children Chris (Debbie), Connie (Kevin), Scott (Yvonne), Kerry (Jim) and his sister Carmen. He also leaves behind his in-laws Edna, Willard, Hazel, nieces and nephews that he adored and a host of friends at the Lions Club, Legion, Sackville Curling Club and golf course. Chris is a veteran having served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1954-1974. During these decades he and his family lived on bases across the country and in the United States. After retiring from the military he worked for the Canadian Coast Guard for 20 years. Chris had a passion for family, sports and community. In his travels he met many people and touched many lives. As a family we are grateful for the care and concern from the exceptional medical professionals that supported Chris’ care –you touched our lives. A private memorial will be held with the family.
