Forever In Our Hearts
Vandyk-Cox, Christina (nee Grootveld)-Peacefully at Tufford Nursing Home, on Thursday November 16, 2017, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of late Jan (1962), and the late Merle (2004). Loving mother of James Vandyk (Nancy), Arnold Vandyk (Elaine), Margaret Slack (Craig), Ronald Vandyk (Karen), Kenneth Vandyk (Jessica). Cherished grandma of 11, and a special GG of 26 great grandchildren. Christine will be sadly missed by her sisters in law Betty, and Nell, and all of her extended family members and friends. Christina was predeceased by her parents, a brother, and a sister. Friends will be received at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 2000 Merrittville Hwy, (905) 892-1699, on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 6-9 PM. A celebration of Christina’s life will be held in the Pleasantview Chapel, on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in memory of Christina may be made to Tufford Manor Nursing Home, 312 Queenston Street, St. Catharines, ON, L2P 2X4 would be appreciated.
