Charles Foster
1923-2017
Charles Foster of Riverview passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Born in Cheshire, England, he was
the son of the late Charles P. and Josephine (Atherton)
Foster.
Charles was a veteran of WWII. He was a pilot with RAF and
did his initial flight training in Moncton. He was an avid writer and
author of five published books. Before retirement he wrote for the
Federal Government and earned an award for outstanding accomplishment
for Writing and Public Relations.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 68 years,
Irene (Dodds); daughter, Beverley Bley of Michigan; son, Ian (Sheila)
of Forest, ON; his eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Patricia
Dresser.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007). In honouring the family’s wishes, no
visitation or service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations
can be made in Charles’ memory to the Moncton SPCA.
