Charles Charlie Chamberlaine 19 mars 1925 – 10 janvier 2017

Chamberlaine, Charles “Charlie” of Moncton passed away surrounded by his family at the Monarch Hall on January 10, 2017 at the age of 91.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, March 19, 1925, he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Annie Chamberlaine. Charlie and his wife Elsie immigrated to Canada in 1954, settling in Hamilton, ON, before the Ford Motor Company brought him to Moncton in 1971. Charlie was very involved in the Kidney Foundation for many years and was a devoted Red Cross volunteer. Always an active person, he found time for Golf, Tennis, Walking and especially his family and the love of his life, Elsie.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Elsie (Doyle) Chamberlaine, children; John (Ann) Chamberlaine, Aidan (Louanne) Chamberlaine, Lisa (Rob) Cole, Sara (Craig) Crossman and his son-in-law Brian Murray.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Chris, Sean, Sammy, Kristen, Kyla, Jill, Angela, Bobby, Amanda, Ayrek and his great-grandchildren; Sunshine, Ocean, Meadow, Storm and Charlie and his many nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his daughter Ann Murray and his brothers; Sean, Victor and Liam.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with funeral service on Friday January 13, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Bernard’s RC Church, 43 Botsford St. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery. Donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
