Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre surrounded by his family’s love, age 90 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Lillian (nee Clarke) & William Akerman, brother, Bill, sisters, Ginevra (Wells), Ann (Morris) and Violet (Brown).
Leaving to mourn his wife, Eileen (nee Dawe), son, Murray (Penny), daughter, Jocelyn (Chuck), grandchildren, Kyle, Brock, Hunter and Amanda, sisters, Marjorie (Yates) and Phyllis (Janes). His family and friends will miss a wonderful, loving, kind and patient husband, father, brother and grandfather.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus.
Visitation to take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M.
Funeral to take place on Wednesday, October 4 , 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cupids United Church with interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Cupids.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Cupids United Church.
