Cecil Colgan
1941-2017
Colgan, Cecil ~ Passed
away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, September
12, 2017 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Joan
Colgan (nee Cochrane) (d. 2006). Loved father of Tony and
partner Carol-Anne, Denise and husband Robert, Tracey and husband
Andrew; step-dad of Rhonda and partner Krista, and Ian.
Loved Granda of Kerby and Jemma, Ryan and Clair, Holly and Roan and
Rainan. Great Granda of Zakk, Josh and
Jack.
Cecil was a long serving employee of Gallahers
Limited, Belfast, Northern Ireland; member of the Territorial Army
Northern Ireland, Engineers and North Irish Horse Regiment; band
member of the Royals Show Band; loyal member of the Army &
Navy Club, Unit 344, Guelph, and a lifetime dedicated and loving
supporter of the Liverpool Football Club.
Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes in Northern
Ireland. If desired, donations to the Foundation of the
Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated.
