November 22 1934 December 30 2017 (age 83)
With great sadness, the loving wife Ann and family of Cecil Bradford Mosher wish to announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 30, 2017. Born in Montague, PE on November 22, 1934, he was son of the late Allan and Ada Mae (Westhaver) Mosher and was the loving husband to wife and best friend, Ann Mosher.
Cecil was a graduate of Mount Allison University with a Business Degree, after receiving a full scholarship there for his football achievements. Cecil was a great friend to everyone. He lived his life by abiding by the golden rule, and there wasn’t a person who would ever be able to say a bad thing about him. He was a genuinely caring and kind individual, with a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone. He volunteered his time to help those who needed it, and because of his outstanding efforts with the Simonds Lions Club, he was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow Award in 1993. He was on the Board of Directors with the Loch Lomond Villa, helping to set in motion the building of it. He coached high school football in his free time in his younger years. He was a very nice man, who will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cecil is survived by the love of his life, wife Ann, his two sons; Ian (Danielle) and Bradford, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, one brother and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother David.
His family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses and staff of 5CN and the staff of the Emergency Room and Ambulance NB for the compassionate care they provided to Cecil and his family during his time of need. Your kindness will always be appreciated.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations made in Cecil’s name to the Alzheimer Foundation of Canada, the IWK or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
