Cathy Lynch,
66, surrounded by her loving family, entered into eternity on
September 19, 2017.
Born in
Fredericton on June 28, 1951, the daughter of Joyce Lynch and the late
Robert Lynch, she is survived by son Robert O’Donnell
(Morgan), daughter Natalie Lynch (Dave), grandson Archer, brother Pat
(Pam) Lynch and sister Jayne Chase (late Karl
Chase).
Cathy had a long career with the Royal Bank
on Queen Street, and later upon retirement with Cox &
Palmer. She will be remembered for the great respect she
held for her employers and for her caring relationships with the
people she served.
Her greatest love was her love of family.
Cathy was a devoted mother, a wonderful daughter, a dear sister, and
friend. Over the past 3 years, facing serious illness, she taught us
all about the “glad game”. We will always treasure our time
together. Our love is everlasting; it goes with her and abides with
us.
In celebration of a life well-lived,
visitation will be held at the Delta Fredericton Hotel in the Royal
Suite (Room 717) on Monday September 25 between 4pm and 8pm. A private
grave-side service will be held at Forest Hill
Cemetery.
For any who wish, memorial tributes may be
made to Christ Church (Parish Church), the Fredericton SPCA, or to a
charity of choice.
