It is with great heartache that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister on October 8, 2017 at the Health Science Centre in her 77th year. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Kathleen Power; her siblings Larry Power, Elizabeth Power, Margaret Ryan and Beverley Kelly and nephew Rick Strickland. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Karyn (Kirk Olford) and Elizabeth Pittman; grandchildren Stephen (Samantha), Kayla, Joey, Ashley, Travis (Mackenzie) and special grandson Ethan; 11 great grandchildren; sisters Marie Strickland (and dear friend), Frances Evoy (John), Ruth Foster (John), Carol Lundrigan (John); brothers Tom Power and Michael Power; sisters-in-law Rosalind Power, Diane Power and Rebecca King; brother in- law Richard Kelly along with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
