Carrol Anne McColm – 1946-2017

1946-2017
Surrounded by family and friends, Carrol Anne McColm died peacefully
at her home in West Cove Head, PEI on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
Carrol was born on August 30, 1946 in Grand Cascapedia, Quebec.
Carrol attended Bishop’s University where she trained as a
teacher (1991). She married Mark McLean of Entry Island, QC on
October 18, 1992. Their blended family includes Rodney Scott and
Pamela McLean Roach. Carrol enjoyed a career of teaching on the
Magdalen Islands, QC. She loved nature, berry picking, crafting,
cooking, her friends and church.
Carrol is survived by Mark; Rodney (Maxine Matthews), Courtney and
Tyson; Pamela (Donnie Roach), Evan MacCallum (Katie Stordy) and
Payton; Katherine MacCallum; Lilly Roach; sisters Frances, Eva and
Rose. She was predeceased in death by her parents Frank and Isabel
McColm.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at
the Stanhope United Church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Family and
friends will be received at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment on Entry Island, QC at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Provincial
Integrated Palliative Care Program (includes Home Care Program).
