Carlton (Carl) Gladwin Hartley
1938-2017
Carl G. Hartley of Springfield, York Co., NB passed away peacefully at
his home on October 20, 2017. Carl was born in 1938 at Woodstock, NB,
a son of the late Hubert and Anna (Carter) Hartley.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie (Graye) Hartley; his children,
Susan Mitchell (Roy), Melissa Hartley, Emilie Hartley and Anna Hartley
(Michael); two grandchildren, Owen Mitchell and Joseph Hartley; his
siblings, Gaynell Pollman (Gunther), Carolyn Presse (Raymond), Bud
Hartley (Linda), Victor Hartley, Harvey Hartley, Sybil Hartley
(Lewis), Shona Bolster, Sheila Condon (Shawn), Hubert Hartley and
Craig Hartley; several nieces and nephews.
Carl was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Merle and
Terrance Hartley.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a
funeral service at the Springfield Community Church, Route 615,
Springfield, York Co., NB on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 2 pm with
Rev. George Clark officiating.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Carl, the family
has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society.
