Carl M. Thompson
1944-2016
At the Dr.
Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Wednesday December 15,
2016, Carl M. Thompson passed away at the age of 72. Born in Verdun,
Quebec he was a son of the late Francis and Noella (Denault) Thompson.
Carl spent his working years as an elevator mechanic with various
companies, ending with Dover in Fredericton. He loved to read and was
an avid philanthropist.
He is
survived by his daughter Crystal Brawn (Kevin) of Fredericton; three
sisters Gwenda French of Chateauguay, QC, Diane Duffy of Richmond
Hill, ON, Frances Desordie (Roland) of Chateauguay, QC; two brothers
Peter Thompson (Linda) of Montreal, QC and David Thompson (Karen) of
Toronto, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents,
he was predeceased by a brother John
Thompson.
There will
be no visitation or service by request. A private interment will
happen at a later date. Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock
Road Fredericton have been entrusted with the
arrangements.
Memorials to
the Fredericton SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated.
