It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Boven Sr. at the age of 70 on Tuesday December 12, 2017. He will be dearly missed by his wife Shirley 36 years. Father to Robert and Albert (pre-deceased) step-father to Rick (pre-deceased), Sandra Stubbert and Andy Stubbert (Cathy) of Kingston.
Carl will be remembered fondly by his 8 grandchildren, Spencer, Ashley, Sean, Emily, Natalie, Sierra, Louie and Mattheo and by his siblings Betsy d (Piet) Netherlands, Gerrit d (Nel) Blyth, John d (femmy d) Clinton, Kinie d (Bernie d ) Goderich , Albert d (Helen) Blyth, Alie d Netherlands, Riet (Roger) Chicago, Henk (Anneke) Netherlands, Ineke (Chris) St.Catherines, Corrie (Kurt d ) Owen Sound, Fred (Greta) Kingston. Carl was predeceased by his parents Karel Boven and Hendrika Jantina Boven Kassies.
The service for Carl will be held at the Westside Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 1021 Woodbine rd. Kingston on Monday December 18, 2017 with visitation from 10:30am-10:55am prior to the service. There will be a reception/luncheon following the service in the Fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, the Boven family would appreciate donations to the Westside Fellowship C.R.C or the charity of your choice.
