Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Thursday morning, February 23rd, 2017. Kenneth Fisher Austin, of Owen Sound, at the age of 86 years. Devoted husband of the late Ilean Austin (nee Kuglin). Loving father of Sharon Austin (Maks Zupan), of Owen Sound, Margaret Sharpe, of Dobbinton, Jim Austin (Nancy), of Leith, Richard Perry Austin (Gayle), of Williamsford, David Austin (Debbie), of Niagara Falls, Darryl Austin (Sherri), of St. Catharines and father-in-law of Celia Austin, of England. Proud grandfather of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alice Jane Wilkens, of Trenton and brother-in-law of Ruth Austin, of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Minerva Austin; his son, Captain Michael Austin; his son-in-law, John Sharpe; his brother, Keith Austin; his brother-in-law, Wesley Wilkens.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Sunday, March 5th, 2017 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow. Interment at a later date in Dunk’s Bay Cemetery, Tobermory.
