Obituary for Bruce Gehan
Peacefully, surrounded by his family, William Bruce Gehan passed away at Seaforth Long Term Care Home on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 at the age of 92. Bruce is predeceased by his wife Lillian (Toots) Gehan (née Southgate), September 2008.
Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his son Robert and his wife Deborah of Hensall, and his daughter Patricia Farrell of St. Thomas. Cherishing memories of a special grandpa are Patrick and Laura Gehan, and Amanda and Ryan Farrell. Bruce will also be fondly remembered by his sister Eleanor Parker, his sister-in-law Lois Gehan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife Lillian, Bruce’s spirit will be reunited in heaven with his parents John and Beatrice ( née Miller) Gehan and his five siblings and their spouses.
Family and friends are invited to attend Bruce’s Funeral Mass, led by Father Clare Coleman, at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11 a.m.
Spring interment in Maitlandbank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth. (519-527-1390)
