Obituary of Brian McBurney
At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, November 03, 2017, Brian McBurney of Wroxeter, age 66 years. Beloved husband of Brenda (Wallace) McBurney of Wroxeter. Dear father of Jackie Sanders of Wroxeter and the late Shannon Holland (2012), and father-in-law of Peter Holland of Listowel. Grandfather of Connor, Kaden, Paige and Tayt. Brother of Doug and Jackie McBurney of Wingham and Jim and Marlene McBurney of R. R. #1 Wingham. Son-in-law of Mary Wallace of Wingham. Brother-in-law of Donna and Morrie Baylor of London, Doug Wallace of Wingham and Corey and Trevor Pocaluyko of Georgetown. Predeceased by his parents John and Olive (Grant) McBurney and his father-in-law Donald Wallace. Former Councilor and Reeve of Township of Turnberry, Warden of Huron County in 1987.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Monday, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Final resting place, Wroxeter Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
