“FIGHTER”
A warrior
So strong and brave
He fights to see another day
His wife he loves
And she loves him back
A family man there’s no
Doubt about that.
The battle he fights
The toughest one
It takes a toll
There is so much pain
But yet he fights
For his children and grandkids
The bravest grandfather one would ever see
He puts up a front
Through all the pain,
He manages to smile.
He is so brave.
At Christmas he sits and reads
Giving his grandchildren
Such precious memories
Teaching them how to be
Strong and brave.
He is in so much pain
But yet rarely complains
It’s truly amazing
How hard he fights.
He fights for you, he fights for his life
He has so much to live for
And through his strength
You will see
The face of true
Bravery.
By Maggie MacNeil, Brian’s beloved granddaughter
