You left far too soon.
So many lives were impacted by your beautiful smile, your soft voice and huge heart. You only saw the best in everyone you met. Your kind, gentle manner always left us with positive, happy feelings. You taught us all well. Your life was the message to all those who knew you. Good-byes hurt the most because our story was not yet finished. Forever in my heart, your loving wife, Betty.
Missing you terribly will be grandkids, Evie, Danny, Josh and Andy; the kids that you were so proud of, Kari (Jim) and Joe (Vanda); your sisters, Charlotte, Lorna, Donna (David), Judy (Bevin), Debbie, Sandi, Glenna (Frank) and Shannon (Larry); your brothers, Rich (Steph), Randy (Sue) and Terry (Vicki); your many nieces and nephews, especially Kristie (Lee) and Ryan (Becky) and of course, your beautiful mom, Edith.
Big thank you to my work family who always knew what to say. Heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Home Care Team who were so caring and supported us at home. The Agape Hospice whose dedicated staff gave a little piece of themselves to Brian and his mega family in his final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brian’s memory to The Salvation Army Agape Hospice, 1302 – 8 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1B8.
Brian leaves us with, “Be soft – don’t let the world make you hard.”
