Obituary Overview
Brian Williams
Brian was born in Barrhead, Alberta in 1949. He started with the city of Edmonton in the late seventies as power lineman, then left the city to start his own company called NAIRT which specialized in traffic control systems. Brian later changed the name to Intrex Inc. which did the same but expanded to more cities and counties in Alberta. He got international recognition by working on the Confederation Bridge located in P.E. I. and the bridge in Nassau, Bahamas. He also travelled to China to try and get his biggest project which was to work on the three gorges dam on the Yantze River. Along all of this he met Mary, his wife of 45 years, and then together they raised three children and two beautiful grandchildren.
Sadly Brian passed away at the very young age of 67.
Brian loved to go on motorcycle trips with Mary and his friends. He also took an interest in the sport of golf which he got the rest of the family involved. He also took his family on many vacations, camping throughout Alberta, B.C. and traveling around North America.
Brian is survived by his children Rhonda (Dan), Jason and Chris; and two grandchildren Alyssa and Christian.
