Obituary of Brett Gibson
Gibson, Brett- Suddenly on Friday December 8th, 2017 Brett, in his 57th year, cherished husband of Jen for 26 years passed away. Devoted father of Rachel and Tori. Loved son of Lorraine Schaefer and Ron Gibson (Wendy). Dear brother of Scott (Corey), Brian (Karen), Sandy (Chris) Bilous and Ron, and brother-in-law of Bruce and Aly Findlay. Brett will be sadly missed by his extended family including his many nieces and nephews; Justin, Aden, Haleigh, Kyle, Braydon, Laura, Ryan, Jeff, Jaclyn and Bohdi. Son-in-law of the late Beverly and Dan Findlay. Dear friend and lacrosse teammate to many, his passions were numerous and united by his deep love of the people around him. Brett will be greatly missed around the camp fire in the park, fishing hole, golf course, swimming pool, hockey rink, soccer field and in the classroom. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Saturday December 16th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday December 17th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. In memory contributions to Canadian Cancer Society, Labrador Retriever Adoption Service and/or Peel Children’s Centre would be appreciated.
