Obituary for Brent Wallis
Brenton Douglas Wallis – January 17, 1963 – March 7, 2017 – It is with broken hearts, that the sons of Brent Wallis of Oil City announce his passing on March 7, 2017. Brent was the husband of Leza Armstrong-Wallis for 30 years and proud father to Zachary Wallis of Strathroy and Colin Wallis of Oil City. Beloved son-in-law of the late Bob Armstrong (2015), Beverly and Jim Maitland of Petrolia. Son of the late Ron Wallis (2010) and Joyce Wallis of Strathroy. Brother to Theresa Kneale, the late Margaret Wallis (1992) and Greg Wallis. Brother-in-law to Lori Armstrong and Pete Pestowka of Tecumseh, Laura and Tim Maitland of Corunna, and Penny and Bruce Cox of Petrolia. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Brent grew up in Watford, Ontario, being born with a love of loud engines and speed. There was nothing Brent could not fix or build; he was a master of many skills. “Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it.” Visitors will be received by the family on Monday from 1:00-2:45pm at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia ON, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 3:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Sarnia www.cmha.ca or through the Needham-Jay Funeral Home.
