Obituary of Bradley Klages
Bradley Charles Klages passed away suddenly at his home in Sullivan Township, on Saturday morning, September 9th, 2017 at the age of 52 years. Dearly loved brother of Jerry and Judy, of Woodstock, David and Barb, of Elmwood, Keith and Jean, of Desboro, Bob and Ruth, of Clarksburg, Don, of Williamsford, Lynn Vanwyck and Ren Kennedy, of Owen Sound, Fred and Dawn, of Desboro, Beth and Robert Fenton, of Allenford, Jeff and Penny, of Shallow Lake and Steve, of Cambridge. Brad will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. His childhood spanned all these generations. Predeceased by his parents, Art and Mary Klages (nee Henderson) and his brother-in-law, Ray Vanwyck. Brad graduated from the University of Waterloo with an honours degree in physics. He spent many years working with his brother, Jeff, retiring to make his passion of farming full-time. He loved spending time with family. Brad enjoyed cross country skiing, baseball, playing cards and was beginning to run again, hoping to beat his high school record. Brad worked hard and he will be greatly missed by his family and community.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Brad Klages will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1450 – 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound, on Friday, September 15th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Desboro Cemetery, Desboro. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Desboro Agricultural Society as an expression of sympathy.
